Ze'ev Jabotinsky was a Zionist, journalist, and writer of Russian origin. He was born as Vladimir Jabotinsky and, during the First World War, founded the Jewish Legion, which fought as a volunteer battalion in the British Army. He was also the founder of Revisionist Zionism.
