Call me inhumane, call me evil, call me crazy, but I genuinely have had ENOUGH. More than enough. I am not known for my politically correct speech. Diplomacy has never been my strongest suit, and I have absolutely no filter between my brain and my mouth. So I will say it bluntly. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

My entire adult life, as well as my teenage years, I have spent defending Israel, speaking up for Israel, showing people the beauty and brilliance of Israel, the enormous contributions of its people to humanity, their love of life and the moral principles their army is expected to uphold. But no matter what I say, no matter how many facts I present, it falls on deaf ears. Apparently, facts have become irrelevant when Jews and Israel are involved.

Let me remind the world what this tiny country has contributed to humanity.

Israel has trained thousands of African farmers through MASHAV, helping communities improve agriculture and food security. Israeli innovations in drip irrigation have transformed farming worldwide. Israeli desalination technologies turn seawater into drinking water. IsraAID has provided humanitarian assistance in more than 60 countries. Israeli scientists developed the PillCam, revolutionizing gastrointestinal diagnostics, and Copaxone, helping patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. ReWalk technology enables some paralyzed individuals to walk with mechanical assistance. OrCam helps visually impaired people regain independence. Mobileye contributes to preventing road accidents, while Israeli emergency field hospitals have saved lives following devastating disasters worldwide.

Ten examples. Ten extraordinary contributions from a country that occupies a tiny fraction of the Middle East.

And what does Israel receive in return?

Hatred, demonization, boycotts, double standards and an endless stream of accusations.

For decades, Israel has endured terrorism, suicide bombings, rocket attacks and the murder of innocent civilians. Then came October 7, 2023, when Hamas and other attackers committed atrocities against Israeli civilians, including murder, sexual violence and hostage taking. Instead of sustained international empathy, Pandora’s box was opened.

The most vicious lies about Israel began circulating worldwide. Every tragedy became another opportunity to attack the Jewish state. Every humanitarian crisis was exploited to promote another political narrative. Even the suffering of Israeli rape victims became a battlefield of denial, distortion and propaganda.

And then there is what I call Pallywood, the propaganda machinery that turns unverified accusations into supposedly established facts. Claims involving sexual abuse by Israeli soldiers, including sensational allegations involving dogs, have circulated without publicly verifiable evidence to establish them. Yet people repeat these stories as though allegations and proof were interchangeable.

Apparently, demanding evidence is optional when Israel is the accused.

And the most disgusting part? So much of the world happily plays along.

Antisemitism is rising, Jewish communities face intimidation, and demonstrations supposedly organized for peace become platforms for glorifying terrorism and threatening Jews. European streets have witnessed violence, vandalism and intimidation, including many incidents involving people carrying “Palestinian” flags. Not every demonstrator is violent, but those who excuse violence because it serves their political cause deserve absolute condemnation.

And here comes the part that will undoubtedly make people furious.

I find myself thinking that perhaps Europe will only understand Israel when Europeans experience the same terror, insecurity and fear that Israelis have endured for generations.

Is that cruel? Maybe. Is that a disturbing thought? Absolutely.

But do not misunderstand me. I do not want innocent civilians murdered, raped, kidnapped or terrorized. I would never wish another October 7 upon anyone. What I want is for those who casually excuse terrorism against Israelis to imagine, for one horrifying moment, that the victims were their own children, their own parents, their own families.

Would they still lecture Israel about restraint? Would they still justify the murderers? Would they still chant their slogans while their own loved ones were being held hostage?

I seriously doubt it.

What infuriates me most is the breathtaking hypocrisy. People who would demand immediate and overwhelming protection from their own governments suddenly become experts in restraint when Israeli civilians are under attack.

I am fed up with the selective outrage. Fed up with the moral lectures. Fed up with people who cannot distinguish between defending innocent civilians and excusing terrorism. Fed up with being told to add nuance while the murder of Jews is explained away.

And above all, I am fed up with speaking to people who refuse to listen.

Those who refuse to listen will have to face the consequences. Not because I wish suffering upon them, but because refusing to confront hatred, extremism and terrorism has consequences for every society.

The gloves are off. I will not apologize for defending Israel, and I will not make my words more comfortable for people who find the truth inconvenient.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
